Cibolo Downtown Market Days - Nov. 27, 2021

Because Cibolofest and other events had to be cancelled, we have been dreaming of ways to support our citizens and businesses. Cibolo Downtown Market Days will be small flexible events that will allow the community to participate in a safe way. Starting May 22nd, the City of Cibolo will host its first ever Cibolo Market Days on Main Street! We will close Main Street from Pfeil to Loop 539 (see attached map). A dining tent will be set up, benches set out, and we will provide spaces for at least 50 vendors, including crafts and food trucks.
Here is the information you’ll need to know to rent a space:
• Vendors must sell direct to consumer goods. This would exclude solicitation booths, demonstration booths, and companies who offer services only.
• Space rental will be $40 for your tent site (no larger than 10’X10’) without electricity. Limited sites with electricity will be $45. Each site will be assigned and you will be provided a map with your location.
• The market will be open 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Vendors can begin setting up at 7:30 and will be expected to stay for the duration.
• From 7:30 to 8:15 vendors will be allowed to travel one-way as indicated on the enclosed map to drop off goods. Vehicles will have no more than 5 minutes to unload before leaving to park at City Hall.
o Late arriving vendors will not be allowed to drop off booth items.
• Vendors will park in the City Hall parking lot, not on Pfeil Road parking lot (that is reserved for patrons).
• No generators allowed except food trucks in designated areas only.
• Bring your own equipment. The City ONLY provides a designated space in which you can set up.
• Provide/sell items listed in your application ONLY. Staff will monitor for compliance.
• Inappropriate, offensive and/or unsafe items are not permitted.
• No glass drink containers are allowed to be sold.
• Food vendors should have gloves for handling food and are required to have a fire extinguisher in their space. Deep fryers require a special extinguisher (Purple K).
• Food vendors must have hand sanitation gel in their site. No hand washing stations are provided.
• All vendors are responsible for getting items to/from their booths and staff is not permitted to help.
• No roaming sales are allowed. All booth workers must stay within the 10 x 10 assigned booth area.
• Boxes must be broken down and placed in provided receptacles.
• Be prepared for windy weather and bring tent weights as the City will not provide any.
• Vendors must bring sufficient change for booths.
